Roughly known as “anti-fashionistas”, Comme des Garçons confronts contemporary notions of beauty, proposing a disruption through not only reinterpreted garments but a personal attitude altogether. This jacket takes a traditional jacquard print design and transforms it into a work of wearable art, characterised by distressed raw trims, an asymmetric two-layer hemline and patchwork pockets that look as if they have been nonchalantly placed wherever.
